Worldlingo Appoints New Advisory Board Members

Laszlo L. Rakoczi and Eric Walter appointed as strategic advisors

WorldLingo, the professional online translation service, has appointed Laszlo Rakoczi and Eric Walter to its advisory board. Laszlo serves on a number of advisory boards and is also a senior partner at PanPacificPartners (PPP) a strategic investment banker. In the early 1980's, whilst group executive VP of Tymnet/Tymshare, Laszlo drove the creation of Minitel, the French interactive network. Eric is a strategic advisor to a number of software companies and a former management consultant with McKinsey & Co. Their expertise and strategic advice will help WorldLingo to enhance its presence in the corporate sector.

Laszlo is also chairman and founder of EduActive and a board member of Direct Stock Market. He serves on the advisory boards of: ICGrowth.com, WorldInternetCenter, NeuSoft, NovusVentures, BraxTel, MicroTeams, GemaTech and others. Laszlo has advised many Fortune 500 companies on spin-outs and divestitures. He was formerly a partner at H&Q Tech Partners, the investment bankers, where he was responsible for strategic alliances.

Eric has worked with a wide range of companies in consumer, industrial and retail markets. Since 1992, he has been engaged in early stage company financing and strategic relationships. Eric held senior positions with fast growing innovative companies with responsibilities for consumer electronics manufacturing, international sourcing, customer service, distribution operations and telesales at: Hello Direct, Electronic Arts, where he was employee number 11, and USI International.
